I usually don't like summer due to the heat and mosquitoes and overall sweaty bareness associated with it. But after this winter, I welcome any kind of sunshine and light. Plus, summer is the season of roses, and they're my favorite flowers. My neighbors grow roses in any shade of color and variety, and I'm definitely embracing them. I think my favorite rose is the yellow orange pink rose, because it reminds me of the sky in late afternoons and early mornings. I love skies. And I might just love summers too.
